Day 1: Nairobi

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you are met by Pongezi Africa Safaris representative who gives you a Safari briefing and then transfer to Double Tree Hotel Nairobi. You have a whole day in Nairobi. You can choose to do some excursion i.e. Visit to Elephant David Sheldrick Orphanage, Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen Museum and Nairobi National Museum. Accommodation and breakfast at Double Tree Hotel Nairobi.

 Day 2: Nairobi / Maasai Mara National Reserve.

At 0700hrs leave for Maasai Mara. Drive to the West as you climb the shoulders of the Great Rift Valley. Have a stop for its Panoramic View. Use the road that was built by Italians during the Second World and a view of the smallest Church in Kenya built by them. They were all Prisoners.

Arrive at Mara Zebra Camp for Lunch. At 1600hrs leave for the Park in search of Lions, Cheetahs, African Elephants etc

Day 3: Maasai Mara National Reserve.

You have a full day game drive with the picnic lunch. The name’ Maasai’ means the speakers of ‘Maa’ language and ‘Mara’ means Spotted. It’s the seventh wonders of the world due to its annual wild animal’s migration from Serengeti in Tanzania to Maasai Mara. It occupies an area of 1500 km2. You look for Lions, Cheetahs, Zebras, and Giraffes.

Day 4: Maasai Mara National Reserve / Lake Naivasha

Depart for Lake Naivasha after breakfast. Pass the recent Volcanic Mountain Longonot and arrive at Sawela Lodge for lunch. In the afternoon leave for bicycle ride in the hells Gate National Park. You will see some Maasai Giraffes, African Buffalos, and Burchell Zebras. Visit the Gorge for a hike. There are no cats. Be back to the lodge by 1800hrs.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha / Amboseli National Park

Have breakfast at the lodge and 0700hrs drive through Nairobi to Amboseli National Park to the South. Arrive for lunch at Amboseli Zebra Camp. At 1600hrs have a Game Drive till 1830hrs. Amboseli means ‘Tornado of Dust’. It occupies an area of 392 km2. Amboseli is known for big herd of elephants grazing in the swamp under the Snow Capped Mt. Kilimanjaro. Late in the evening you will capture another photo of the Elephants as they cross in front of your safari cars, heading towards the forest where they sleep. Other animals to see are; African Buffalo, Burchell Zebra, Spotted Hyena, Lion, Cheetah etc

Day 6: Amboseli National Park / Tsavo West National Park

After breakfast head to the Tsavo West National Park with a Game Drive en route. On entering into the Tsavo West, have a stop at the most recent volcanic activity of Chyulu Hills. The Lava spreads several kilometers with a river flowing underneath. It’s popularly known as ‘Shetani Lava’- locally meaning ‘Devil’. Arrive for lunch at Kilaguni Serena Lodge. Afternoon have a Game Drive in the Park. Tsavo West has an area of 9065 km2. Has thick bush of commifola, Baobabs with rivers such as Tsavo River.  Some animals to see are; Red African Elephants, Black Rhinoceros, African Capped Buffalos, Lions, Leopards. Hunting Dogs. Be back to the lodge by 1830hrs.

Day 7: Tsavo West National Park / Tsavo East National Park

Have an early game drive with a visit to ‘Mzima Springs’ where you have a walk for 30 mins as you see some Fish, Hippopotamus and Nile Crocodiles.

After breakfast, leave for Ashnil Aruba Lodge.

Arrive for lunch at Ashnil Aruba Lodge. At 1600hrs have a Photography safari in search of Red Zebras, Cheetahs, Lesser Kudu, Suni, and Red African Elephants.

Day 8: Tsavo East National park / Mombasa

After breakfast, depart for Mombasa with game drive en route. Arrive at Diani Beach Hotel.

Day 9-11 Mombasa

You are at your own disposal in Diani Beach Hotel. Mombasa is the second largest city in Kenya after Nairobi. On 11th century, arrived the Arabs and later some Portuguese. They intermarried with the natives called ‘Bantus’ and their generation spoke ' Swahili’ which is the National Language in Kenya. Some of the excursions to do are; Snorkeling, city tour in Mombasa Town, Visit to Marine Parks and Shimba Hills National Park.

Day 12: Mombasa/ Nairobi

After breakfast, transfer to Moi International Airport for the flight to Nairobi where you connect to your flight back home.
