Day 1: Nairobi

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you are met by Pongezi Africa Safaris representative who gives you a Safari briefing and then transfer to New Stanley Sarova Hotel . You have a whole day in Nairobi. You can choose to do some excursion i.e. Visit to Elephant David Sheldrick Orphanage, Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen Museum and Nairobi National Museum. Accommodation and breakfast at New Stanley Sarova  Hotel.

Day 2: Nairobi / Maasai Mara National Reserve.

After breakfast, drive to Mara Sarova  Game Camp. Have lunch and leave for Game Drive at 1600hrs. Look for Silver backed Jackal, Vultures, Spotted Hyenas, Nile Crocodiles, Black rhinoceros, Hippopotamus and Lions.

Day 3&4: Maasai Mara National Reserve.

You have a full day game drive with the picnic lunch. The name’ Maasai’ means the speakers of ‘Maa’ language and ‘Mara’ means Spotted. It’s the seventh wonders of the world due to its annual wild animal’s migration from Serengeti in Tanzania to Maasai Mara. It occupies an area of 1500 km2. You look for Leopards, lions, Cheetahs, Zebras, wild beasts and Giraffes.

Day 5: Maasai Mara / Nairobi / Rwanda

Transfer to the Mara Keekorok Airstrip after breakfast for your flight to Nairobi. On arrival you are taken for lunch at Carnivore Restaurant and later to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight to Kigali in Rwanda. On arrival you are met by our Guide who takes you to the Genocide Museum and City Tour in the Old Kigali. Later drive for 3 hours to the Governors Lodge.

Day 6: Rwanda

After breakfast, drive to Volcano Park for Gorilla Tracking. You are guided by a Local Professional Guide to a certain Gorilla Family. You walk for some hours to get them. They are very calm and you can take a selfie with them comfortably.  No children are allowed. Walk down to the parking area and drive to your Hotel.

Day 7: Rwanda / Home

At 0800hrs drive to Volcano Park. Using a different route, walk with a Local Professional Guide to see the Golden Monkey. You walk through bushes, forest until you reach the Bamboo Forest where you find them. They are very unique as they demonstrate to you how they play, gloom and feed. You are likely to take them a photo very near. Be back to the parking area and drive back to your hotel for lunch and later transfer to Kigali International Airport for your flight back home.
