NILE SAFARIS ( 10 Days )

Day 1: Nairobi

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you are met by Pongezi Africa Safaris representative who gives you a Safari briefing and then transfer to Intercontinental Hotel Nairobi. You have a whole day in Nairobi. You can choose to do some excursion i.e. Visit to Elephant David Sheldrick Orphanage, Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen Museum and Nairobi National Museum. Accommodation and breakfast at Intercontinental  Hotel Nairobi.

Day 2: Nairobi / Amboseli National Park

At 0700hrs after breakfast, leave for Amboseli National Park  to the South. Arrive at Oltukai Lodge for lunch.  The lodge is situated at the middle of the park facing some Swampy area. You will see some Elephants from your room. Have Game Drive at 1600hrs in search of Wild beasts, Common Zebras, African Buffalos.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park

You have a full day game drive with Picnic Lunch. Amboseli means ‘Tornado of Dust’. It occupies an area of 392 km2. Amboseli is known for big herd of elephants grazing in the swamp under the Snow Capped Mt. Kilimanjaro. Late in the evening you will capture another photo as they cross in front of your safari cars, heading towards the forest where they sleep. Other animals to see are; African Buffalo, Burchell Zebra, Spotted Hyena, Lion, Cheetah etc

Day 4: Amboseli National Park / Namanga / Manyara Lodge

After breakfast, depart for Namanga where you go through immigration office as you exchange your Guide with one of Tanzania. Drive Arusha for lunch and later to Manyara Lodge.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Conservancy / Serengeti National Park

At 0700hrs leave for Ngorongoro Conservancy with picnic lunch. It’s unique with the Crater which is the biggest in Africa. The vegetation varies from open grassland to rocky hills, bushes of Acacia trees to Swampy area. You find African Elephants, Maasai Giraffes, Bohor Reedbucks, and Lions.

In the afternoon head to Serengeti National Park. Arrive at Serena Safari Lodge for dinner.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park

You have a full day Game Drive with picnic lunch. Serengeti means ‘Plains without an end’. Has open grassland, bushes, rocky hills and forest. It’s known as the native home of the wild beasts which migrate to Maasai Mara on July every year. During the month of January and February are the calving seasons of the Wild beasts. Also look for Leopards, Lions, Black Rhinoceros, and Hunting Dogs.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park / Tarangire National Park

After breakfast,drive to Tarangire National Park. Have your picnic lunch and start the game drive towards the Tarangire Sopa Lodge. The park has a lot of baobabs tree which have  a wide trunk.Also you will see some AfricanElephants,African Caped Bufaloes,Lions.

Day 8: Tarangire / Arusha / Uganda

Depart at 0700hrs to Arusha  after breakfast. Board the flight to Entebbe International Airport Uganda. Onarrival you are picked by our representative and taken for lunch at Kampala Serena Hotel. In the afternoon you visit the Queen Elizabeth National Park and do Canoeing at River Nile.

Day 9: Kampala / Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast,drive to Bwindi  National Park with lunch on the way. Arrive at Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge.

Day 10: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park / Kampala

Have breakfast at the lodge and leave for Gorilla Trekking. They are in families and you are guided by the local guides.

After lunch drive to Kigali Rwanda for Dinner at Kigali Serena and later transfer to Kigali International Airport for your flight back home.
