AMBO SAFARIS ( 3 Days )

Day 1: Nairobi

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you are met by Pongezi Africa Safaris representative who gives you a Safari briefing and then transfer to La Maison Hotel Nairobi. You have a whole day in Nairobi. You can choose to do some excursion i.e. Visit to Elephant David Sheldrick Orphanage, Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen Museum and Nairobi National Museum. Accommodation and breakfast at La Maison Hotel.

Day 2: Nairobi/Amboseli National Park

Have breakfast at the Hotel and 0700hrs drive to Amboseli National Park to the South. Arrive for lunch at Amboseli Zebra Camp. At 1600hrs have a Game Drive till 1830hrs. Amboseli means ‘Tornado of Dust’. It occupies an area of 392 km2. Amboseli is known for big herd of elephants grazing in the swamp under the Snow Capped Mt. Kilimanjaro. Later in the evening you will capture a good photo/ video of the African Elephants crossing in front of your safari car, as they head towards the forest where they sleep. Other animals to see are; African Buffalo, Burchell Zebra, Spotted Hyena, Lion, Cheetah etc

Day 3: Amboseli National Park/Nairobi

Take early breakfast and start your Game Drive at 0630hrs. Wait for the herds of the African Elephants coming down from Mount Kilimanjaro and cross in front of you safari car as they enter into marshy area where they feed the rest of the day. You will see Lesser and Greater Flamingoes, Pelicans, Cormorants, Goliath Heron etc. Hike on the Observation Hill for the view of Hipopotamus.

Drive back to Nairobi with lunch on the way and later transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back home.
