Day 1: Nairobi

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you are met by Pongezi Africa Safaris representative who gives you a Safari briefing and then transfer to Double Tree Hotel Nairobi. You have a whole day in Nairobi. You can choose to do some excursion i.e. Visit to Elephant David Sheldrick Orphanage, Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen Museum and Nairobi National Museum. Accommodation and breakfast at Double Tree Hotel Nairobi.

Day 2: Nairobi / Samburu National Reserve

After breakfast, Depart for Samburu at 0700hrs. Arrive in time for lunch at Samburu Sentrim Camp. At 1600hrs leave for afternoon game drive. Be back to the lodge at 1830hrs.

Day 3: Samburu National Reserve

You have the whole day game drive. Samburu National Reserve is known for its five unique animals, the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy Zebra, Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk (Giraffe antelope) and Somali Ostrich. It also has Lions, Leopards, Cheetahs and you are likely to see Elephants crossing the ‘Ewaso Nyiro‘River.

Day 4: Samburu National Reserve  / Olpajeta Conservancy

Breakfast at the Lodge and leave at 0800hrs. Arrive at Sweet Waters Tented Camp for lunch.  Olpajeta Conservancy lies along the line of Equator on the slope of Mount Kenya- The second highest in Africa after Mount Kilimanjaro. The Park is known for having a walk with Chimpanzees and you have a chance to feed them. Also it shelters both Black and White Rhinoceros. You find the Only Two Remaining White Northern Rhinoceros in the World. One will also see African elephants, gazelles, African Capped Buffalos and Lions.

Day 5: Olpajeta/ Lake Naivasha Resort

Leave at 0700hrs for Naivasha after breakfast.  Arrive in time for lunch at Lake Naivasha Resort. The lake has a lot of green houses for rose flowers.  At 1500hrs leave for a boat ride in the fresh lake Naivasha and have a walk with some wild animals at the Crescent Island.

Day 6: Lake Naivasha Resort / Maasai Mara National Reserve

Breakfast at the Resort and at 0730hrs depart for Maasai Mara National Reserve. Pass through the Volcanic Mount Longonot which has a Crater.  Also you see the agricultural area for Wheat, Maize, and Barley. Have brief stop at Narok Town, The biggest for the Maasai Community. Arrive at Maasai Mara Sentrim Camp  for lunch.

At 1600hrs have your first Game Drive in the Reserve.

Day 7: Maasai Mara National Reserve.

You have a full day game drive with the picnic lunch. The name’ Maasai’ means the speakers of ‘Maa’ language and ‘Mara’ means Spotted. It’s the seventh wonders of the world due to its annual wild animal’s migration from Serengeti in Tanzania to Maasai Mara. It occupies an area of 1500 km2. You look for Lions, Cheetahs, Zebras, and Giraffes.

Day 8: Maasai Mara / Nairobi

After breakfast leave for Nairobi. Lunch at Carnivore Restaurant. Transfer to Eka Hotel where you will have bed and breakfast only.

Day 9: Nairobi/ Amboseli National Park

Depart at 0730Hrs after breakfast. Drive towards South till you reach on the slopes of Mt Kilimanjaro. Arrive for lunch at Amboseli Sentrim Camp.  At 1600hrs you have a game drive in the park. Amboseli is known for big herd of elephants grazing in the swamp under the Snow Capped Mt. Kilimanjaro. Late in the evening you will capture another photo of Elephants as they cross in front of your safari car, heading towards the forest where they sleep. Other animals to see are; African Buffalo, Burchell Zebra, Spotted Hyena, Lion, Cheetah etc

Day 10: Amboseli National Park / Nairobi JKIA

After breakfast, leave for Nairobi with a game drive en route. Have lunch and transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for the flight back home.
