Day 1: Mombasa

On arrival at Moi International Airport, you are met by Pongezi Africa Safaris representative who gives you a Safari briefing  and then transfer you to Southern Palm

 Day 2: Mombasa / Tsavo West National Park

Leave for Tsavo West after breakfast. Pass through the Coconuts and Cashew nuts farms. Arrive for lunch at Severine Lodge.  Have a stop at the most recent volcanic activity of Chyulu Hills. The Lava spreads several kilometers with a river flowing underneath. It’s popularly known as ‘Shetani Lava’- locally meaning ‘Devil’. Arrive for lunch at Kilaguni Serena Lodge. Afternoon have a Game Drive in the Park. Tsavo West has an area of 9065 km2. Has thick bush of commifola, Baobabs with rivers such as Tsavo River.  Some animals to see are; Red African Elephants, Black Rhinoceros, African Capped Buffalos, Lions, Leopards. Hunting Dogs. Be back to the lodge by 1830hrs.

Day 3: Tsavo West National Park / Taita Hills Sanctuary

Have an early game drive with a visit to ‘Mzima Springs’ where you have a walk for 30 mins as you see some Fish, Hippopotamus and Nile Crocodiles.

After breakfast, leave for Taita Hills. Arrivefor lunch at Taita Hills Lodge. Later start the Game Drive with in the Sanctuary. Look for Lions, Giant Elands and Common Waterbucks. Check in at Salt Lick Lodge at 1800hrs.

Day 4: Taita Hills Sanctuary / Mombasa

Have an early Game Drive before breakfast. Outside the lodge is the water hole where some animals such as African Elephants, African Capped Buffalos Common Zebras come to drink water. The park has bushes and open woodland where you are likely to see some cheetahs.

After breakfast, leave for Mombasa with Lunch on the way.

Day 5 -6 Mombasa

You are at your own disposal in Southern Palm Hotel. Mombasa is the second largest city in Kenya after Nairobi. On 11th century, arrived the Arabs and later some Portuguese. They intermarried with the natives called ‘Bantus’ and their generation spoke ' Swahili’ which is the National Language in Kenya. Some of the excursions to do are; Snorkeling, city tour in Mombasa Town, Visit to Marine Parks and Shimba Hills National Park.

Day 7: Mombasa / Home

After breakfast, transfer to the Moi International Airport for your flight back home.
