Day 1: Nairobi

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you are met by Pongezi Africa Safaris representative who gives you a Safari briefing and then transfer to Double Tree Hotel Nairobi. You have a whole day in Nairobi. You can choose to do some excursion i.e. Visit to Elephant David Sheldrick Orphanage, Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen Museum and Nairobi National Museum. Accommodation and breakfast at Double Tree Hotel.

Day 2: Nairobi / Samburu National Reserve.

After breakfast, depart for Samburu at 0700hrs. Drive to the North as you enjoy the Agricultural area of Pineapples, Mangoes, Pawpaws, Oranges, Bananas and Coffee. Arrive in time for lunch at Samburu Interpid Camp. At 1600hrs leave for afternoon game drive. Be back to the Camp at 1830hrs.

Day 3: Samburu National Reserve.

You have the whole day game drive. Samburu National Reserve is known for its five unique animals, the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy Zebra, Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk (Giraffe antelope) and Somali Ostrich. It also has Lions, Leopards, Cheetahs and you are likely to see Elephants crossing the ‘Ewaso Nyiro‘River.

Day 4: Samburu Interpid Camp / Maasai Mara Interpid Camp

Have breakfast in the Camp and transfer to Buffalo Airstrip for your flight to Maasai Mara Intrepid Camp. On arrival you are received by a Guide from the Camp and have Game Drive en route to the Hotel. Lunch at the Camp. At 1600hrs go in search of Lions, Cheetahs, Grant Gazelles etc.

Day 5 & 6: Maasai Mara Interpid Camp

You have a full day game drive with the picnic lunch. The name’ Maasai’ means the speakers of ‘Maa’ language and ‘Mara’ means Spotted. It’s the seventh wonders of the world due to its annual wild animal’s migration from Serengeti in Tanzania to Maasai Mara. It occupies an area of 1500 km2. You look for Leopards, lions, Cheetahs, Zebras, wild beasts and Giraffes.

Day 7: Maasai Mara Interpid Camp / Nairobi

Transfer to the Olkiombo Airstrip after breakfast for your flight to Nairobi. On arrival you are taken for lunch at Carnivore Restaurant and later to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back home.
