TWIGA SAFARIS ( 5 Days )

Day 1: Nairobi

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you are met by Pongezi Africa Safaris representative who gives you a Safari briefing and then transfer to Palacina Hotel. You have a whole day in Nairobi. You can choose to do some excursion i.e. Visit to Elephant David Sheldrick Orphanage, Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen Museum and Nairobi National Museum. Accommodation and breakfast at Palacina Hotel.

Day 2: Nairobi/Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, transfer to Wilson Airport for your flight to Mara Kichwa Tembo. On arrival you are met by our Guide who drives you to Mara KichwaTembo Camp and have game drive en route to the Hotel. Have lunch and leave for game drive at 1600hrs. Look for Silver backed Jackal, Vultures, Spotted Hyenas, Nile Crocodiles, Hippopotamus and Lions.

Day 3&4: Maasai Mara National Reserve

You have a full day game drive with the picnic lunch. The name’ Maasai’ means the speakers of ‘Maa’ language and ‘Mara’ means Spotted. It’s the seventh wonders of the world due to its annual wild animal’s migration from Serengeti in Tanzania to Maasai Mara. It occupies an area of 1500 km2. You look for Leopards, lions, Cheetahs, Zebras, wild beasts and Giraffes.

Day 5: Maasai Mara National Reserve / Nairobi

Transfer to the Mara Kichwa Tembo Airstrip after breakfast for your flight to Nairobi. On arrival you are taken for lunch at Carnivore Restaurant and later to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back home.
