LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
Lake Manyara was created in 1960 and covers an area of 330 km2. The park is named after the L. Manyara, ground-water forest with giant fig and mahogany trees, acacia woodland and open places popular for the tree climbing lions, looking for cool shade and running away from tse tse flies. It hosts not only elephants, buffaloes and leopards, but also hosts birds, such as maccoa ducks and the lesser flamingos, which migrate from L. Nakuru in Kenya.

NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA
Ngorongoro crater is the biggest in the world with diameter of 19km and 610 – 760m deep and cover an area of 1260 km2 constitute of caldera, grassy plains, swamps, acacia woodlands and fresh & salty lake. Animals to be seen are black rhinoceros, lions, elephants, Buffalos, cheetah, common zebras etc. Also over 250 birds special have been observed.

SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Has attitude of between 914 -182m. Serengeti is a Maasai word meaning “plain without an end”. This park covers an area of 14760 km2. It is a vast open plain characterized with rocks outcrops, acacia, savannah woodland, scrub, forest, swamp and a small lake. Serengeti is popular for being the nature home of the famous wildebeest that migrate to Maasai Mara in Kenya. It shelters big games such as elephants, lions, buffalos, black rhinos, cheetah, wild dogs, hyenas etc. Some 500 species of birds can be observed.

TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Resembles Meru National Park of Kenya with grass savannah, tree Savannah, grassland, acacia woodland and baobabs, swamps. At the beginning of short rain in October, some gnus and zebras migrate to North of the border between Manyara and Lake Nation, while other like buffalos grand and Thompson gazelles, elephants, heart-beasts eland and Oryx follow towards East and south East. To south follows some wildebeest, zebras, buffaloes and some eland. Only the waterbucks, impalas, gerents, warthogs, giraffes and small Kudu which sky in the park. Some 270 birds species have been recorded.
