MOMBASA
The second largest city after Nairobi. It experienced series of war in 15th century by Arabs, Portuguese and British as they all tried to conquer it. With the help of N.E monsoon and S.W monsoon, many dhows from Arabia and India came for trade i.e. dry skins, ivories, beads, coconuts, gold ornaments, wood carving, slaves etc. This made it popular with trade and up to date it’s the gate way to East and West Africa. Also has influx of tourist because of beautiful beaches. Has the historical sites i.e. the fort Jesus, old Arabs style houses and mosques. Famous with elephant tusks on Moi Avenue at city center which commemorate the queen Elizabeth II visit in 1952.

SHIMBA HILLS NATIONAL PARK
The park is open plain and dense forest protects the rare sable antelope. But one can also see, elephants, Roan Antelopes, Spotted hyenas etc. Accommodation available at Shimba Hills Lodge the only tree lodge at coast.

MALINDI & WATAMU MARINE NATIONAL PARK
Established in 1968 as the first park of it kind in Africa. The territorial limit include, mangroves, palms, casuarinas, coral reefs and polyps. One make a visit with a glass bottom boat, over the coral garden as you enjoy coloured marine fishes, spiny sea urchins, coral reefs and star fish. During low tide one has the best visibility.
